It’s Not Too Early To Consider 4th of July in the Smokies

We’re only in the late part of Spring, just before Memorial Day, but we have our minds thinking forward to one of the best parts of the upcoming season and the grandest patriotic event on the calendar: 4th of July!

Six weeks from today will be the most exciting day of the Summer season – the always astounding 4th of July celebration in the country and the Smoky Mountains. Nearby Gatlinburg will be celebrating it as it always has with the First Independence Day Parade in the Nation going on at 12:01AM July 4th (as in the first minute it transitions the night from July 3rd to July 4th), the River Raft Regatta that starts the following morning at 10:00AM between Christ in the Smokies and Ripley’s Aquarium in the Smokies, and the fireworks that explode overhead downtown Gatlinburg at 10:00PM will all be expected and greatly anticipated as it should be.

Lodging for the 4th of July can get hard to come by as it gets closer to the famous date, but we’re happy to announce that Deer Ridge still has several units available for Independence Day fun-seeking visitors coming to the Smokies!

The following units still available as of writing are:

Unit C205

Unit C102

Unit A203

Unit D204

And the 4th of July events in Gatlinburg are as follows:

4th of July Midnight Parade

River Raft Regatta

Gatlinburg’s Fireworks Finale

Get them while they’re good to get! Availability will not last long!
