• Sunset Sponsor: Food City

    Our second sponsor for Sunset Festival (who will be providing food for our second Sunset Festival) is Food City in Gatlinburg. Food City has long been in the service of helping visitors to the Smoky Mountains get groceries, deli meats, bakery goods, snacks, flowers, breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between for decades (even before they had a location in Gatlinburg) and we are pleased to be working with them once again for Sunset Festival!

    About The Sponsor:
    As stated above, Food City is a large grocery chain in East Tennessee; with their Gatlinburg location being our biggest and most accessible grocery provider in the city. They are particularly known for their quality of meats at their deli and cold meat section. Their bakery is nothing to go without mentioning either; they make exquisite cakes, dessert cups, cupcake selections and donuts that easily rival Krispy Kreme in taste and texture. Many of our guests make use of Food City for holiday catering during their stay at Deer Ridge – turkeys and mashed potatoes and the works for Thanksgiving and Christmas, just to start with, so they are a very natural fit as a food provider for Sunset Festival!

    What They Will Provide:
    * Chicken Tenders
    * Cole Slaw
    * Rolls
    * Refreshments

  • Sunset Festival Sponsor Spotlight: Texas Roadhouse in Gatlinburg and Sevierville

    We’ve been doing our Sunset Festivals for quite a few years here at Deer Ridge, and this year we get to welcome one of the highest profile sponsors and food providers we’ve ever had with Texas Roadhouse. Texas Roadhouse is a big name for Southern dining in our region and each of their restaurants certainly knows how to put the word “legendary” in their food, service and margaritas to make Legendary Fun.

    Texas Roadhouse will be serving our 4th week of Sunset Festival on October 28th and providing chicken, wings and fixin’s. For those of you who would like to get to know them beforehand (or after), we definitely recommend you try one of their restaurants in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or Sevierville. Ice cold beer is the name of the game no matter which one of their restaurants you visit and you can also expect:

    * Fresh baked bread (with cinnamon butter).
    * Fall off the bone ribs.
    * Hand-cut steaks that are cut in-house.
    * Sides and dressings that are made from scratch onsite.
    * Kids’ Night every Monday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM with free ice cream bar and kid-friendly crafts.
    * And of course, the aforementioned Legendary Food, Service, Margaritas and Fun!
